Kev, best not to fit any rivets until the car is painted, and then it has to be well cured before riveting. If you rivet it prior to the paint process, you'll lose the rivets " definition" under the paint, plus it could cause issues after time. Best to drill the holes, get it painted and then rivet ...
I've been working under my car and have found that the "Ethanol friendly" new fuel lines I fitted three years ago have all started cracking quite badly. I would highly recommend checking out the rubber hoses if mine are anything to go by.

A quick update, the rear end is now finished, I've put a smooth number plate on instead of the metal one, the boot handle has now been removed and its been pinstriped in black again. I can now log in with my Android phone and tablet, but the site doesnt keep me logged in. Everytime I access the site I have to log in again. Also the auto fill for my details hasn't updated the new password, it tries to enter the old one I used prior to changing it to try and rectify this problem. ...
