I got a brass one made by a local engraver. Contains the following only - all within a rectangle - characters and rectangle outline in black, background brass. No problem at IVA.

My FIA (vintage year 2000) has a GRP bonnet and scoop. 27mm approx from bonnet to top of scoop.

Hawk/Hoyle IRS!! Now that is not for the faint of heart. It can't be fitted to a standard hawk chassis. It needs extensive rework and welding of the chassis to accomodate. Gerry explained it all to me once when I was considering it. Not really a runner unless you're prepared to dismantle the car and...

Hi Kev,
I have Hi Spec Brakes front and Jag inboard rear. Passed IVA comfortably with 5/8" - 0.625" cylinders and with balance bar fully biased to the front.
Same setting works equally well with MGB drum brakes on rear. Hope that is of some help.
