Just to prove I haven't lost hope: finished up (most of) the coolant hoses and carb/spacer installation. Finally got the correct air cleaner, too. The aim is as close to a showroom street car as possible, with most date codes correct.

Hi Roger,

Will you be able to come to the charity day at Bruntingthorpe on the 8th August? It would be great to have you there with the Cobra, but failing that, the Mustang, or even the Mini. :)

Sorry Paul, I'm in London that weekend. What do you mean, 'even' the Mini? Leave all those Cobras for dead in an autotest...

That wasn't meant in any way derogatory as I'm sure you know. However, I doubt even your Mini would be a match for a Cobra on this particular track. It's a series of fast open bends joined to a 1km straight. :)
