Great news Paul, Thanks.....
Yes I am a T289R member. I have been lurking on here for some time but not posting.
You may have seen my Hawk 2.6 build which is featured on the T289R "Building/servicing your 289" page.
Regards Dave.

Hi Dave,

I've just had a look at your build website. That looks really nice and I especially like to use of modern technology to get the horn and indicators to work with the period centre cap, very ingenious. The social side of T289R is one of the main pleasures of owning my Cobra, so I would definitely recommend that you get involved and join us on a few events.
Dave Woodward has been on here for ever, so it might be prudent to either create a new user account or request your account name be changed.
I will probably host another barbecue on either the Friday or Saturday evening after the success of the last one and you'd be very welcome to join us. I'm just outside of Lutterworth.

AskMID lists it as "HAWKAC REPLICA", which is closer than Austin Cambridge.

Yes. I purchased the Reg No.941 ELE from a chap in the next village who owned the Austin Cambridge.
...........
