Silverstone Weather

Just checking to see what the weather will be like for driving down on Friday. According to the BBC it will be hail here. :shock:

Of course it will. It`s Silverstone, It`s summer, what else would you expect? (Packs anorak at top of holdall).

Well, despite the weather, it was great to meet up with so many of you, if only we could have had 3 Saturdays, eh?
Maybe next year, they can hold the event in Summer! :roll:

I think God must hate Silverstone, for as the last car took the chequered flag in the last race (Battle of Britain Trophy with Colin in his MGB!), the rain stopped, the wind dropped, and the sun even poked it`s head around a cloud!!! GRRRR!!!!
(Pity it didn`t stay like that, journey home was 200 miles of torrential rain, got to bed at 2:30am!!!)

I'm not really unhappy not to went to Silverstone. I prefer 22°C and dry weather :wink:

For those who missed all the thrilling action, an hour-long highlights programme will be screened tonight on ITV4 at 8:00pm with a follow-up repeat at 12:00am on Saturday 15 August and 10:45am on Sunday 16 August.
