I should be there god willing. I'm an ACO member so just buy tickets direct and stay on Eppinettes, ferry with Brittany Turpin. Hoping to take the FIA down. Just got to work out how to get my bike in the boot

I have just booked with Bill Telford of Classic Car Tours, going with my son-in-law Adam, this time staying at the Chateau Perrine de Cry in Avoise, which is very near Chateau De Dobert which I've visited many times before.

Hi john.

I have a couple of rooms reserved with bill from classic car tours for Le Mans classic 2020. I’ll be staying at hotel st Martin.

Has anyone been before? First time going and would be great to get any advice from anyone with past experience. Thinking the overnight Ferry.

So far myself and partner in my cobra and my brother and his partner in our rally prepped mgb roadster.

Thanks.

Jake

I've camped overlooking Tertre Rouge for the last 3 Classics.
It's a private campsite for the Triumph Sports Six club.
It's excellent and has it's own bar and facilities.
It's for TSSC members but if they haven't filled it themselves they open it up to others.
As we have members of the UKCRC that are also TSSC members it's not an issue.
Just started looking at the ferries going out Wednesday night and returning on Monday.
My normal route of Portsmouth - Caen is chuffing expensive.
Might look at alternative routes.

I'm going Portsmouth to Caen, and back Cherbourg to Portsmouth. I booked it a week or so ago and it went up by £50 in 24 hrs!!!

I've booked Portsmouth - Le Havre on the Wednesday overnight and Caen - Portsmouth coming back on Monday morning.
Hotel stop over in Caen on Sunday night.
Will be camping overlooking Tertre Rouge as usual all being well.
