Hi all -
Just a note to say that I'll be at The Trooper Inn this Thursday from 7pm.

Hope to see you there. Here's a photo from last time we had a few Cobs there (though I know Ian goes regularly with his!)
Area meeting - Hampshire/South
Re: Area meeting - Hampshire/South
Sorry I have a prior engagement.
If Richard Stubberfield arrives it won’t be in the Cobra as he has sold it!
I think he now has LED lighting on the Lancia so should be OK in the dark now.

Ah - sorry to hear that. Yes, I heard he'd sold his Cobra - I guess more sedate motoring appealed instead!
Cheers,
Andrew

Perhaps he'll turn up in his Alvis.
Cheers, Clive.
(If I'm not here I'm in my workshop or on the golf course!)

Just because I have sold it doesn't mean I don't look at the Forum! Hard to drive at the moment seeing through the tears, made all the worse for going to the Revival and watching the Cobras on track
Sedate motoring indeed; centre throttle, right hand gear change, no synchro, no temperature gauge, no heater - nothing sedate in the vintage world! I could also add in the effect of potholes on vintage steering and suspension, if you haven't experienced steering shimmy you haven't lived!
Will try to get along on Thursday. Alvis 12/50 though. not Lancia Wouldn't mind a Lambda though.
Thanks to all of you who have helped me enjoy Cobra motoring over 13 years, some great events.
Richard

Actually now you describe it, that sounds hair-raising. I must have a ride as a passenger some time!
See you then - looks like there will be at least three of us...

Just a couple of us this time!
Re: Area meeting - Hampshire/South
Apologies Richard.
No idea why I typed Lancia when I know it’s an Alvis. Another senior moment I guess.
