Not going to that one Simon, but to the proper, the original, the one and only and still the best "Classics On The Common" in Harpenden, Herts, next Wed 24th July. You sadly won't be able to display without an entry and they sold out weeks ago. It's an annual date where Nicky and I picnic with the Bevans and the Veareys, it's also my annual reunion with schoolmates (I was schooled nearby).

Used to meet David Evans there, the late lamented C&SC journo ...he once featured the Kirkham in the mag.

It is truly a stunning event with cars rarely seen anywhere else, over 1000 of 'em, classic bikes and scooters too. Anyone who's been knows what I'm talking about. Can't wait :lol:
