I have just developed an exhaust leak between cylinder head and manifold. Easy I thought, might as well replace both sides while I'm at it!
However, not as easy as I had anticipated. The manifolds are standard Gerry tubulars, but I'm damned if I can get access to the lower rear bolt on the drivers side, doesn't matter from which direction I approach I can just about get a spanner on it, but no room to move spanner. Is there a secret to this or some special spanner? (or is it a case of a small semtex charge?).

Of course what I really meant was the second lower bolt in on the driver's side!

Hi Brian,
Dont know if it helps, but I used a 14mm open ended spanner to put mine on and I assume the same will work to undo it. Try putting it on from the rear end and then pushing down on it from above with something?
Its definately a bit of a bu**er.
