I four linked my open 3.07 tube axle with coilovers and am very pleased, I see no need to fit an LSD unit.

On bearings - if changing buy the very best, a 50 yr old is way better than a cheap new one.

Thanks for the comments, who provides the 4 link kit - or was it custom made?

A quick google revealed this http://www.classicconversionseng.com/MG ... ension.htm
There are others, Real Steel has been mentioned as a supplier.

I made my own, was a nice project to do and transformed the car.

Interestingly the guys comments at the end mirror my own on this.
