Gents, any idea what pressure rated radiator cap I should have using a 302 ford?
Thanks

Thanks Clive, mine is rated at 14 lbs but after some overflow yesterday I was a bit worried about it. I’ve since discovered the cap wasn’t screwed fully home (can’t seem to grip like I once could) so hopefully being fully seated under pressure will cure the problem.

Check the length between the cap and the rubber seal of the cap. My original cap was just a tad short so didn't quite seal at the top of the radiator. Also, if the system is over full, when the coolant expands it will force the water out until the proper level is achieved. As stated elsewhere, the tank should be approx half full when cold.
Cheers, Clive.
