Re: rear shock absorbers

Post by JakeAustin »

Hi Stu

I asked him what the options are, as he doesnt make the brackets anymore he would have to make one set which meant they are expensive!! With the new chassis having them already incorprated there just isnt the need anymore for large produciton.

I have the coilover front suspension kit to go on my car with GAZ coilovers. (which hopefuly will be going on soon once i can find the fitting instructions. I think i may go for the telescopic dampers on the rear for now with the brackets, i think Gerry mentioned they would be around £50.

Added with the anti tramp bar and panhard rod hopefully i will see an improvement in the cars handling on the road.

Cheers

Hi Jake
£50 isnt too bad when you take into account the cost of struts and that they last much longer. if you are asking Gerry to make brackets please ask him to make 2 sets as i will put on shelf as future insurance given this will probably be last time i get lever arms re-built
thanks Stuart
