Excellent work.

Interesting, though - Migge will fit a beautifully-trimmed carpet to his car, which will look lovely. As mine is slavishly copying the originals, all I have to do is spray the whole inside of the boot, wiring included, with a couple of cans of silver paint! I've still not worked out why they painted silver over aluminium, anyway...

Very impressive Migge.

However, are you at all concerned that with all these individual bits of metal held together with hundreds, if not thousands of rivets, it is going rattle like a tin can full of dried peas after a short time? :? It only needs 1% of the rivets to work a little lose (and they will) and you'll have a symphony of buzzing and rattling.

Just a thought.

I have had a few hundred rivets in my Magnum 427 SF and I can't remember a loose one. Hope it will be the same with the 289 :D

BTW: I hope the exhausts are loud enough to be legal and predominate a few loose rivets!

Good progress Migge. Only 93 days until Silverstone, .... No pressure then.
Cheers, Clive.
