I'd go with Gerrys headers as they will fit.
Oil pump, I'd go with a standard decent brand pump as high delivery not required.
Cam and heads should try to get a set that match up. Too lumpy a cam will make the car undrivable in traffic, will also need to match to whatever carb you are planning. Inlet manifolds are limited by bonnet clearance, if you've got a scoop you have a bit more room.
Clutch will depend on what you are doing with the car, a stock clutch will be no good for track or high hp applications.
Fuel pump depends on how much fuel your engine guzzles. To low a capacity means the engine will run lean and get hot.
You should also consider joining the club

When I built my 331 stroker many years ago I was advised against the 347 (can’t for the life of me remember why now!) just make sure you have the whole assembly properly balanced. My 331 (and the 302 I have now) was smooth, quiet and powerful, much more like a modern engine and not in the slightest bit “agricultural” as you would maybe expect from an old pushrod V8.
I’d be happy to share with you the full spec of my current Real Steel built engine in my FIA, It’s an absolute beauty (as it should be at 6K plus...)
If you’re anywhere near me, you’re welcome to come and see/listen to the engine. If the weather is fine I’ll happily take you for a blatt......

Sanderson FF5 are the only headers that fit the Hawk, using them since ten years on my Ford 347

Hi Stu, I too would like to know the answers to these questions please? the cryptic stuff doesn't work for me I'm afraid. I asked Alan to ask this question, as a very good friend of mine is doing the engine conversion for him and he wants to know why standard shorty block huggers cant be used, as they appear to be almost identical in the shape, size and design, but a fraction of the cost of Sandersons
