Hi Stu.

Regarding your rear springs.

How many miles have the springs done? I have the original springs on my car last changed in 1997!!!

How are they for ride height as my car currently rides quite high on the rear. Unsure whether these are comp springs ?

Many thanks

Jake

Tony, replied to your PM,
Jake these springs have done about 2000 miles. I was happy with my ride height and I was running without aluminium spacers which would further lower the back end (they are just blocks of aluminium and you would have to change the bolt for a longer one that is the central clamp for the spring itself). The springs are wrapped in Denso tape, which is easy to remove if you don't want it on and would have protected the springs from corrosion.
Cheers
Stuart

For anyone not come across Denso tape you WILL need to handle it with rubber gloves or similar. The cloth has permanently soft putty type coating and it sticks well to your fingers etc. It’s used commercially on all the exposed parts of operating valves out on the North Sea oil rigs. You can be sure it protects the springs well.

I could be interested in your rear springs Stuart, for my rubber-bumper MGB GT. Do you think they'll fit?
