Fitting the side screens

Post by simonjrwinter »

In preparation for my upcoming paint job, I’m trying to do all the little jobs still outstanding (tonneau on hold...)
To that end I’ve started to fit the side screens. I followed the instructions to the letter but I’d appreciate opinions on how it looks so far.....

I’d also really appreciate some close up pictures of finished sidescreens if possible, both fitted and lose would be great. I was thinking about covering them myself. I can source the material and window channel.
Thanks

Cheers, Clive.

I have a similar gap on my bubbletop above the sidescreen frames as in Simon's last pic - in fact they aren't a very good fit round the curved part of the moulding either.

Be interested to see how you get on with this aspect.
