I have a genuine Hawk bonnet scoop to fit a standard 289 bonnet for sale.

Hello Matt

As Phil mentioned, I'm 6ft 4in and had plenty of space in the 289.
My seat was bolted directly to the floor which meant that my head was well below the screen line.

You'll have no issue at 6ft 2in, good luck with your build.

Car now sold for the asking price.

If you are thinking of selling your 289, remember that these cars are increasing in value all the time for well built examples.
So don't sell your car for less than it is worth.
It's in every owners interest that values are kept as high as possible.
