With the longer driveshafts and bottom arms now fitted, the rear tyres now sit nicely in the rear arches. if you paint ther bonnet and rivets with the rivets fitted, you'd be surprisded at how much definition you would lose, plus, there's the possibilty of the paint cracking around the rivets with body movement, paint shrinkage etc. As paint cures, it does shrink slightly ;-). I left mine in raw alumini...

Kev, best not to fit any rivets until the car is painted, and then it has to be well cured before riveting. If you rivet it prior to the paint process, you'll lose the rivets " definition" under the paint, plus it could cause issues after time. Best to drill the holes, get it painted and then rivet ...

I've been working under my car and have found that the "Ethanol friendly" new fuel lines I fitted three years ago have all started cracking quite badly. I would highly recommend checking out the rubber hoses if mine are anything to go by.

I've decided not to fit any sort of straps the the rear screen.....well, for the time being at least ;-) :lol: :lol:

A quick update, the rear end is now finished, I've put a smooth number plate on instead of the metal one, the boot handle has now been removed and its been pinstriped in black again. Still not working here either. It logs me out everytime I close the page and have to manually re enter my details to get back in. The autofill doesnt remember my password

I can now log in with my Android phone and tablet, but the site doesnt keep me logged in. Everytime I access the site I have to log in again. Also the auto fill for my details hasn't updated the new password, it tries to enter the old one I used prior to changing it to try and rectify this problem. ...
