Re: Rotary switches for wiper/washer

There are some with red and blue flying leads off the back of them.
The quality is dire.
I've not tried the ones without the flying leads.

Looking great Dave, hopefully you'll have it home before 29th March!

Right now I'm paying 23% Polish VAT.
Under WTO rules I'd pay around 5% Duty and then 20% UK VAT.
So no real biggie ;-)

Re: The next project.

A bit of an update. (It's been a while)
The first 289FiA car aluminium bodywork is almost finished. :D
Hopefully in a bout four weeks I will have it in my grubby hands and ready to start the build up  [attachment=3]20190131_104845_resized.jpg

Re: IVA today

If you can't get enough adjustment from the balance bar then you need to go up a size on the master cylinders for the rear brakes, or down a size on the master cylinders for the front brakes. ;-)

Re: IVA under-dash

You only need to cover anything "sharp" that projects below the horizontal line of the bottom of the dash.
Or the bottom of the steering wheel on the drivers side. ;-)

Re: Mot

Those chrome/stainless lights from S-V-C look ok at a glance. But the fixing stud and the wires sticking out of it are about a long as the light body, and are difficult/impossible to hide on a Cobra nudge bar, and are VERY obvious/unsightly when following the car. ;-)

Re: IVA SOS: Lucas wiper park facility

You can buy new (white) switches.
But I have plenty of problems with them.

The HiSpec Billet 4 uses a Volvo 240 pad. ;-)
