Re: NEW! AC COBRA Models from AC Cars!

Thanks Nick. There was a particularly bad looking car about 10 years ago claiming to be an AC made by 'Iconic' I think. I thought that must have been a licensed product? -noticed the pics seem to show an exhaust pipe, no under-bonnet view and the dashboard pics do not seem to show the rejig needed ...

Re: NEW! AC COBRA Models from AC Cars!

Given the number of outfits who have got licenses to the AC moniker over the last 10 years or so, I find it confusing who's who. So this outfit are based in Norfolk https://www.accars.eu/contact-us/ - no connection to Thames Ditton or AC Cars of Weybridge or Camberley? So I am assuming this is just ...

Re: Well, that didn't fit

No daft at all, Kev! On the Le Mans tops, most are redundant as the screens are bolted, but 111JX isn’t, and has the biggest gap. I would guess that screen would bulge as far as the straps but not pop out, but would I trust it?! Hmmm... dunno, but it seems to survive! On the bubble tops, it may hel...

Re: Well, that didn't fit

Re: Nice FIA for sale in Europe

That car was for sale last year with the same pics - I used the pics for amusing myself with photoshop playing around with planned hardtop mods last summer.

Assume its an ali body car for that money?

Hi Kevin, do you have the website in your "Favourites"? If so, delete it and re-install it again. That's how I eventually resolved my issues.
-thanks Clive, I'll try that.

Re: Forum Login

Soemthing odd has happened - it seems the webpage cannot remember my logon details as it always sued to. Once I type 'K' the google password holder flashes up the right suggestion. Any reason why the login details are no longer stored?

Re: Knock-on wheels: anti-sieze?

Thanks Kev, yup, that's the plan. Hopefully should be completed at the front this w/e or next.
I've got the lockwire and the tool (and the Youtube video) ready to go.
Still dithering about the rear hubs.
