There is a picture of an original white grp bubbletop-style hardtop on 240 DPE, which I think is a Bristol-powered Ace on p.59 of AC Heritage by Taylor & Burn. Its difficult to see inner detail, but I'd hazard a guess thats its just plain GRP. I have just started adapting a bubbletop for the Crendon...

ah OK, must be a slightly different product. Mine was designed to have a door switch that on a nomrla car would be de-pressed to start the arming process, so I wired in a latching switch to make it work. Anyway, irrelevant now.

Just a thought....as I have a similar unit.:
How have you dealt with the 'door switch' which primes the unit? If this is done incorrectly it wont arm properly.

I deliberately wired in some 'secret' multiway plugs so that when/if mine goes south I can unplug it and still drive.
