Re: Winter projects
Would be interested to know how you get on with the MSD or similar. I have Holley which is doing the job but suspect an EFI would help improve power and response. I get some spit back thru the carb when cold and engine under strain - which is not a particular problem - just have to maintain revs whe...

Re: car electrics
I bought my loom from S-V-C together with all the electrical components. I think I may have saved a little but it is worth checking what is included in Gerry's package. I don't think I properly understood what was included and the effort to fit a modular loom was a bit painful at times - the real is...

Fab issue thanks very much Phil and Val! Kevin's article quite inspirational. Also loved Peter Modelling - a future profession there - looking forward to the summer when the 289 swim wear is on sale!

Front suspension geometry
Reading the setup of Jag suspension with interest. Am now working thru some fine tuning on my Hawk and having just added poly bushes to front am about to realign. From what I can see on past articles I should be aiming for -0.8 camber at front. Neutral castor (I.e. Just go with Hawk setup?) but not ...

Re: Diff ratios (again)
I used a 3.3:1 which I sources through simply performance. Gerry had recommended 3.3:1 powerlock which was hard to locate. In the end Simply Performance got hold of a 3.54 and arranged for an ex Lister Jag gearbox specialist to change the crown wheel to male that 3..3:1. I can't comment on other rat...

Re: Lift the dot studs
A bit late but I just popped the tap into my battery drill and drilled the tap into the hole. It took seconds to tap each hole and worked well. Studs screwed in easily and held firm.
