Re: FIA owners: tyres

I think it's brake cleaner spray that will remove the lettering, should you want to?
My local tyre place gave me that tip.

Re: Radiator for a 302

Hi Jake, indeed I have looked at them. I ended up buying one of their of the peg range (70mm thick core) which I'm hoping will be big enough. They wanted another £160 +Vat to modify it to make it taller. I hope I don't regret my choice but I'm not intending to race the car. https://www.ebay.co.uk/it...

Re: Alloy Radiator Upgrade

Hi Roger, the main question is where are you mounting it?
In the nose of the body or between the chassis rails?
It makes a big difference in the available space.
In my build I'm going between the frame rails.

MX5 seat fitment

Hi again all,
a quick question fir those of you that have used MX5 seats.
Did you bolt them in on their original rails?
Or maybe bolt them direct to the floor in fixed position?
I don't want to re-invent the wheel, knowing that it's been done many times.

Many thanks

Re: What Size Battery

Thanks Stew and Stu, I normally use Tayna Batteries as my supplier too. Very good service and prices. I note from the dimensions on their website that I can get an 096 in the same size as the 067. More than enough amps in that up to 750 cold cranking amps and 74Ah. https://www.tayna.co.uk/car-batter...

What Size Battery

Hi again all, I'm just about ready to need a battery for the the Sebring. I have it mounted in the engine bay as per Gerry's manual. What size battery do you guys have / recommend? I think I can get an 067 in the space available. (Should be plenty as the cable runs are short). As per someone else's ...

Radiator for a 302

Hi all, hope you're all safe and well. I'm looking to mount my radiator (which i haven't got yet) as per original as best I can. I.E. between the frame rails and hinges. I know some of you guys have done similar (StewbieC) for one. Does anyone have a drawing of the radiator and can anyone recommend ...
