Re: Wanted: rebuilt mgb axle
Hi, just saw your wanted ad for an MGB axle. I have a wire wheel one in my garage that I originally bought from Gerry at Hawk cars. It was refurbished by his mechanic and at a guess has done approx 3k miles since. It was replaced by an MGC axle as I wanted a higher diff ratio and has sat in my garag...

Re: Silverstone Classic 2014
Just received my tickets. Different this year, only one ticket, not two as previous years and no in-field car pass. I called the ticket hotline and they told me my ticket was an 'early bird' ticket and admits two people. Regarding the in-field car pass they said that the car club was organising that...

Difficult to say exactly what but as a longshot a strain the wrong way on the handbrake lever might cause a seal failure there. Is it possible to p...

Re: Brake Calipers
Hi David, I have the same setup as you on the rear axle, albeit I have vented discs and I think you have single discs. I have had no problems with the Sierra calipers on my rear discs, although I do know they were brand new when fitted and not reconditioned. There must have been thousands of cars us...

Re: Gear Stick
Are you still looking for this? I have a shortened LT77 gear mount, placing the gearstick in the correct position for the Hawk with a properly functioning reverse gear mechanism.
