Re: Edelbrock Performer erratic water temperature
Peter yes did all the jacking bit and a plastic bottle on top of expansion tank full of water. Spoke to a guy at my local garage he said it may just be hot water in the system when it goes ballistic. Suggested perhaps the water pump pulley wheel too big and not coping with high speed. Also not a hea...

"With a standard Sumo cooling set up a problem can occur that the water being circulated by ...

So it's an issue with the stat which has been tested. I now see jiggle pin just holds it open. I took it out and drilled a 5mm hole but still overhe...

Re: Edelbrock Performer erratic water temperature
Decided to take thermostat out today. I still think an air lock but I did notice the jiggle pin wasn't at 12 o'clock more like 2 o'clock and the jiggle pin looks to me the wrong way round. Water flows through thermostat to top hose of radiater, this pin would not allow air or water through. Am I rig...

Re: Sidescreens and hood fitting
Roger My last job is the dashboard, any information on 'definitive record on dashboard trim' would be appreciated. Your sidescreen buffer picture is useful, maybe I can make something similiar with conical rubber glued on. Do you know if the glass extends to where they are screwed on ? Or do I use v...
