Re: UK build agent?
Clive, when I registered my car in Feb. 2009 I also have the two dates showing Feb. 2009, but also had a age related plate with the year of the donor (KCH124 N). The two different dates started all the problems of the false registration here in Germany, so 95% of the Cobras over here have a false re...

Re: 289 five bolt/T10
Hi, engine is still in the car as it came from the US, runs smooth, no blue smoke from the exhaust, no overheating. As we have different plans for the car we cannot use engine/gearbox later on and will sell it, we are not going to open the unit.

Re: 289 five bolt/T10
Hi Roger, good to hear the specialist! The problem is that we are relocating our workshop, so car lift and everything is on the move. Will try to take some pictures. The unit is standard from a Falcon Futura Coupe 1964. I think I do have a picture of the casting of the block. I will let you know whe...

289 five bolt/T10
For the original fans!
Is there any interest for a 1964 Ford 289 five bolt engine with a B-W T10 gearbox?
All is still in a running car (Ford Falcon Futura Coupe) and would be available early next year.
Best regards Karl

Re: Engine Oil for Rover engines
Well Peter, running Mobil1 0-40 since 10 years (after break-in with mineral oil), no problems, but it is a Ford with all new internals and machined to modern tolerances!
