Re: Powered by Ford Emblems
Best to remove the pins and use the highest quality 3M double sided tape. If ever you have to remove, you will need to insert a plastic spatula thingy under the badge and very gently prize it off without damaging the paintwork. The positioning of the US-version badges is fairly crucial...best done b...

Re: Finally put her on the dyno!
Go for it Aaron...black wheels would compliment the roof beautifully. And make it look a little more menacing too:).

Le Mans 66
This is the UK (and I think Europe generally) title of the film called 'Ford v Ferrari' in the US. Not sure why they needed to change the title for us but I have to say that my wife Nicky and I saw it on the big screen in our local ODEON theatre and we were both impressed. I'd been put off a bit bef...

PHIL RILEY FOR PRESIDENT!
Well, not quite...but you have a few days left to register a vote for Phil in 2 Club Award categories at this year's NEC Classic Car Show. Phil will inevitably see this and blush, but he needs to know that a vote for himself won't count. There are 2 categories suitable, as I see it: Club Maga...

Re: Engine Oil for Rover engines
Having owned the TVR Chimaera 450 (Range Rover 4.5 EFI breathed on by TVR Power) for a few weeks now I was fascinated to learn that the experts in these cars stress the importance of a good mineral oil, 20-50 or 20-60. Millers will be my choice.

I usually compete in the Kirkham but this year I've entered the TVR Chimaera.

Hope to see you there John and any others local to Goodwood

Re: Tonneau fitted
When I drive with the tonneau fitted I just roll the driver's side back and tuck it behind the seat. It works fine at motorway speeds. No need to fit anything in the middle. That works because Clive has short legs, bless him  Original Cobras had 3 ferrules in the door top, whereas the Hawk sid...

Re: Engine builder s/e
CMES looked after my MGB race engine, very successfully. The boss, Paul, owns a Mustang and loves Ford V8's. He's got a lot of well-heeled customers and a strong reputation in the Paddocks.
