Yes with the smaller instruments it was easy like that but nothing like that on the he back of the rev and Speedo just the plug and dip switches.

Speedo lighting

I have a Smith's electronic classic Speedo and REV counter the type with the dip switches at the back.

Before I start messing about is it possible to access the bulbs inside with ease? My Speedo has been without light for a while now?

Have been thinking about removing the rear silencers on my rover/MGb system. In order to get that more original look from the side as the pipes exit the rear. A little concerned about the noise level, problem is I have no idea what it sounds like anyway as I am only ever in the driving seat. Anyone ...

It is an ignitor 1 it is fitted to a lucas 35DLM8 and the coil was a Flame Thrower 1, 1.5 ohm, 40,000. It was what they had recomended for my set up. It is electronic, I have one of those pertronix conversion kits fitted and the coil was a black epoxy "flame thrower '
