Re: LE JOG 2016
My driver and I just completed a weekend of day and night practice. Very exciting! No dramas and all went well. In calibrating the Brantz, it took us several minutes to realise that the 'mile' markers on the M25 are actually in kilometres! How very dare they  Had a lot of fun practicing handb...

Re: Interview with Peter Brock
Interesting. Here's another one from a while back. Getting tucked up by somebody you did so much for was no big surprise but must have hurt. Check out Pete's website for some of his own photographs. Naturally I like the ones he did for Craig back in 1997 the best. http://www.caranddriver.com/feature...

Re: Classic cars are not historic says FIVA
You may recall that in addition to the "historic" issue, there is also a tentative proposal floating around that would essentially ban any form of modification to the manufacturers spec of new vehicles. This is not just a Euro issue but one also applicable to the USA via separate legislation. The ba...

Re: First run of the year..
Had mine fixed a few years back at a clinic in Cambridge. They used a sort of expanded mesh similar to the stuff on Goodridge brake hoses. Easy fix if a tad expensive but at least I can stop quickly if somebody is about to walk into me. Robin

Andy Soar highly recommended for that. He is a mate but don't hold that against him. Robin

Erm - Range Rover marketeers. Still at least they didn't call it Cedric.
Reminds me of the old joke back in XR3i days (nope I had a Golf GTI mk1) about why they are all called clitoris. Because they are all red and every ....... got one. I'll leave now. Robin

Paul - my daughter had a week of test drives alternating between the SVR and Autobiography. Like you with the FType she found the SVR too lairy for daily use so chose the Autobiography. Mind you, she has an AMG SLS if lairy is required.

Re: Ouch
Picked up some parts at the weekend from a chap who has a small number of historically important cars (as they say in dealer blurbs) and we got talking about Goodwood. He's stopped taking his cars to any of their events because there are too many people with a surfeit of money over ability and commo...

Euro organisation based in Brussels being treated with suspicion? No sh*t Sherlock. I can hear the sound of backtracking feet from here.
