I have always put a loop in the wire, (8mm bolt does nicely) as this will show tensioning of the wire.
In theory, splined hubs don’t need a wire, but I like having them!

Thanks Roger, as you say, several Cobras appeared with ‘personal’ registrations, Geoff Dempsey’s GD100 being the first that springs to mind. 😎

644 CGT & 645 CGT are 2 particularly well known Cobras, but ‘GT’ is a popular choice for so many buyers!

(I shudder to think how much 34PH would be!!!)
