Re: Big block Cobra for sale

This is one of the very few non-289 Cobras I really like. Epic attention to detail. 8)

But there is no space in the 2-car garage...

Re: T289R South - mini road-trip - Wednesday 29th July

...31 miles, Andrew... 31 miles! 😆😆😆

The route looks a bit like this to me:

🤣😂🤣

I’m just jealous, because I’m too far away!
Have a lovely drive out! 👍🏻

'AC' must be the only company that “claim to” make an electric car that accelerates slower than the old petrol one.....
Fixed it for you... 🙄😆😆😆

Re: New Member - Long time Lurker

I don’t think I’ve seen an RS Ace Hawk built! Fabulous! Second only to fitting a Ford Zephyr engine, the Triumph is a great choice!
Best wishes for the build, and very selfishly, I hope you retire to the UK so we have a chance to see it finished! 😎

Re: NEW! AC COBRA Models from AC Cars!

Thanks Nick. There was a particularly bad looking car about 10 years ago claiming to be an AC made by 'Iconic' I think. I thought that must have been a licensed product? -noticed the pics seem to show an exhaust pipe, no under-bonnet view and the dashboard pics do not seem to show the rejig needed ...

Re: NEW! AC COBRA Models from AC Cars!

Kevin, after the bank called time on AC Autokraft, Alan Lubinsky purchased AC ‘in toto’ So production continued at Brooklands for a time, before moving to Frimley, then briefly Normandy(UK), from where they decamped to Malta, and touting a move to Connecticut, ended up in Germany. No ‘other outfits’...

Re: Well, that didn't fit

No daft at all, Kev! On the Le Mans tops, most are redundant as the screens are bolted, but 111JX isn’t, and has the biggest gap. I would guess that screen would bulge as far as the straps but not pop out, but would I trust it?! Hmmm... dunno, but it seems to survive! On the bubble tops, it may help...

Re: Well, that didn't fit

I like the way you’ve done the screen straps on your screen, Stu, in fact the whole top is a masterpiece! 😎 I took Dad for a spin in mine, 2 minutes up the road to get a takeaway, and just did the lap belts up. He said he’d seen what happened to Nick Granville-Smith, similarly belted, and wouldn’t l...
