Hi Andy,the car passed iva at the end of May. I believe yours passed about the same time great feeling.First drive's are a feeling of exitment and trepidation so far no problems.Being a mgb based car I can overtake petrol stations If nothing else.Still trying to find out how to post photos of car.by...

Hi,after passing iva and registering car how long is it to first mot?and is ok to remove fog and reverse lights because they look horrible,or should I not ask.Thanks

Hi All, just to let you know there is a mgb powered 289and it works and sounds good enough for me.It just passed the iva test in June and is registered as a hawk 289.the number plate is age related.IWish I could say it was a straightforward build but it has taken me almost 11 years hence the Slowjoe...

rear spring bolt

Im about to fit rear springs with mg lowering block and longer u bolts.Could someone explain what the longer special bolt is.I know you use a longer bolt through the chassis but don't understand about the one through the spring,Thanks Joe

Car Recovery

Any ideas of how to tow your car without damage in case of breakdown.(I know mine will never break down,but I am just thinking of others).Are there any fixing points or contraptions on the Hawk that are safe and secure?

So if using hawk setup there should be no problem with mgb steering wheel if spokes are covered and enough padding.
