Re: Nice Hawk Ace on pistonheads

Nik, move the pedal box back a tad. Would make it much more enjoyable for your Mom. Not a 5 minute job I know. But would be well worth it.

Re: IVA tests

Passed thanks Kev, I had plenty of time to go back to check and improve things during the summer. I was at Oldham and the guys there were very complimentary. At the same time they were very meticulous. Not like the usual test they send you away for a couple of hours whilst they go through things in ...

I have a MSD Atomic sitting on my desk :). It's basically the same system with less fancy features...
I know several people running that system with success. To run it right, do some research in the forums, e.g a absolute leak free exhaust system is a must.
How did you get on with this?

Re: Winter projects

Looks like there is a new guy in town, doesn't need a return line and doesn't need to scallop out the web on the inlet manifold!

Re: Wanted - spinners and steering wheel for IVA

Hi Tim,
I used the MGB wheel off my donor car. I had to make an interface adaptor to fit to the Cobra boss, but it works a treat. The horn push, isn't connected and there's no symbol on it to cause the tester a concern. It also adds a soft and padded element to the centre of the wheel.
