Hi Clive,
I do use the same garage every year although they have changed staff recently. The V5 says nothing of emissions (CO2 g/km is blank) and the engine spec has not changed.

MOT emissions
Just had the Cob in for its MOT and the guy there was insistent that it required a full emissions test, claiming that the regulations had changed. He could only show me 'proposed changes' on the .GOV site. I must admit I was very concerned during the test. They've visually tested it every year since...

Re: LeMans Classic
I’m really missing the loss of LMC this year.
So to compensate I’m watching prior LMC plateau races on YouTube through the tv. Makes excellent viewing and you get the entire race for each plateau. Definitely recommend it if you need that fix.

Re: 289 build
Mine empties rapidly for the first quarter, very slowly through the middle of the tank, and then quickly again through the last quarter?? Make sense of that if you can :D I was instructed on installation to put a bend in the arm to prevent the 'ball' from hitting the bottom of the tank which I did. ...

Re: Powered by Ford Emblems
I wasn’t being funny with you Roger. I hadn’t realised the subtle difference between the emblems in left vs right hand drive. Now I know, I’m going to think a little more before adding them. The car was first registered in 2008 so it’s not like I’m in a hurry

Powered by Ford Emblems
I just recently took delivery of two 'Powered by Ford' emblems from Europa Spares and am really disappointed by the quality.
They appear to be heavy metal bases, with the logo part poorly stuck to the face.
Is this what others have found when ordering theirs?
Dave.
