Good to hear your feed back Migge.

I am slowly being won over to injection, a quad 'Weber' throttle body set up would I suppose tick all the boxes, it would purely be a vanity thing, it would never pay for itself in my lifetime.
I can only access the engine by removing the bonnet, so I guess there is no point in putting bling on there that will never be seen.
Anyway I just re bushed all my Holley spindles and the car is running the best it has for years.

BTW I'm running Dellortos DRLA 45 on the yellow one, a RV 3.5. Very similar to the Weber IDF
For my other project I'm running Webers IDF 48 on a RV 5.0

Hi Migge, I've got a set of IDF carbs and manifold. Separate manifold on each bank. I'm interested in how you solved the thermostat installation. My manifold has two coolant outlets at the front. Any help would be most welcome.
Cheers, Jack

I have a small thermostate housing in aluminium with 2 tubes for connection the 2 manifold outlets. At the back a bore for the temp. sender and the top to mount the regular Rover water neck. Had it made in UK at a cost of approx. 100 BP. Sorry, can't post pics anymore, not a T289R member anymore. Drop me a mail and I can send pics.

The other solution is John Eales, he has ahousing on stock.

Looks like this one:

Or you find a TVR one. They had it on the Tuscan Challenge racers.
