Well, it's a "Hillman" hole plug, but God knows where it would go, but I'd guess at the interior trim somewhere??

Are there 2 of them to cover the 2 round holes in the rear of the boot?

Nope - those have the correct rubber plugs in them. As do the much larger ones in the wheelarches to access the tank straps.
