I've now received my age related registration documents, 1970, H registration as per donor. So end of the process at last
I'd like to obtain a simple non sexy A-C suffix plate and was wondering if anyone has had a good experience with providers of this service? There is no shortage of suppliers!

Re: Number plates
Hi Ian
I bought very reasonably a 1965 'C' plate at a recent DVLA auction.
A very simple process and good value.

Check out this site, register and you're away.
Good luck,

Re: Number plates
Thanks for the suggestion Tony. I've found a reasonably priced one, cheaper than the DVLA transfer fee.....now for the new V5, then plates.

Re: Number plates
Was that a 'one off', or might there be others available?

Re: Number plates
There are loads of A-C suffix plates around and if you're not fussed about letters and numbers many are less than £100.

Just a little bit of extra info. My '64 plate was previously allocated to a motor bike. This is apparently OK but you can't transfer a car plate onto a motorbike. Mine only cost £80 but then it was 15 years ago!
