Hawk roll bar query

Post by simonjrwinter »

Is the hawk roll bar just held in by the two bolts in the seatbelt frame? I’ve undone them both and it won’t budge.....

Don't you have a copy of the build manual?

From memory, the outside leg of the roll bar is bolted through the chassis from the underside.

In this picture, the two inner holes on the cross member are for the seat belt frame and the outer one is for the outer roll bar arm.

This picture shows the roll bar fitted.

Thanks Clive, I didn’t realise the l/h leg was the actual roll bar! Found the bolt, sorted now. Many thanks.
Stripping for paint so lots to do....
