Re: Colour Help
It looks like the AC colour “Light Maroon Metallic”, if that’s any help.

Re: Colour Help
It looks non metallic though, thats why i'm stumped. Ive sean the same photo with a desription of Svecia Red but i thought that was muh lighter. Is the Greyhound a solid colour or metallic?

Re: Colour Help
Cheers, Clive! I don’t think our Greyhound is the original colour, Dad had it matched for some minor repairs. It is non-metallic.
Svecia is a lot more ‘letterbox’ red, Rouge Irise is a more browny-burgundy...
I only have a photo of the original AC colour chips, and the names/ codes are unreadable on the non-metallic colours.
Rangoon Red is nice!

Re: Colour Help
Do you have a registration number for the Ace in your picture? If so, perhaps we can trace the owner through our member's database.
Cheers, Clive.

Re: Colour Help
Looks like a non-UK event, and an early flat-screen Ace, so unlikely to be one of our members, possibly not even an ACOC member.

Re: Colour Help
I've got three colours picked out so far and we are going to paint some of the panels this afternoon and get them out in the sun and see which one we like the most. I've had a colour in mind for about two years then had a wobble once decision time came along. Never easy is it?
Re: Colour Help
It was the hardest decision I made. My car was booked in to be painted silver like Gerry's demo 289 but was delayed for a couple of weeks. In the interim I saw a picture of Richard Stubberfield's blue 289 and I was sold.
Cheers, Clive.
