Powered by Ford Emblems

Post by Dave Woodward »

I just recently took delivery of two 'Powered by Ford' emblems from Europa Spares and am really disappointed by the quality.
They appear to be heavy metal bases, with the logo part poorly stuck to the face.
Is this what others have found when ordering theirs?
Dave.

If I remember correctly I got mine from Finishline in the USA. Great quality. https://www.finishlineaccessories.com/c-37-emblems.aspx
Cheers, Clive.

I wasn’t being funny with you Roger. I hadn’t realised the subtle difference between the emblems in left vs right hand drive. Now I know, I’m going to think a little more before adding them. The car was first registered in 2008 so it’s not like I’m in a hurry :D

I didn't think you were, Dave! However, it's worth having a think. I did it the hard (read expensive) way! I had them on my Hawk, and without thinking, or doing my research, I automatically drilled the holes for them on my current car, and fitted them. Then the penny dropped, and you wouldn't believe how much it cost to get four little holes welded up and the paint reinstated by the body shop. One of my more expensive mistakes....
