any recommendations for auto electricians to wire IVA standards?

I bought my loom from Premier Wiring Systems. (Via eBay)
Every circuit was spot on on for IVA regulations.
A few clarifying phones calls required but excellent support.
He's been building Cobra looms and many others for years.

I think that comment is maybe a touch unfair and may not be a comparison of apples with apples.
Gerry's loom isn't just the loom and includes pretty much everything that is needed to wire the car including switches, relays, fuse carriers, battery cable and the immobiliser needed. They are also normally in stock and not made to order.
People can always buy products elsewhere if they choose with the caveat that there are risks involved without the suggestion that alternatives are in anyway inferior. In the same way as a paint job can cost anywhere between 2k and 10k.
I just wanted to square the circle on this one.

My loom did include the fuse and relay holders etc.
Not the switches.
It did include all the wiring for the immobiliser, and wired for the VW indicator stalk.
I spoke to ECS who supplies Gerry. (I've used him before superb harnesses I agree).
He had a mighty delay at the time and wasn't happy about supplying me direct as I was building a Hawk.

I bought my loom from S-V-C together with all the electrical components. I think I may have saved a little but it is worth checking what is included in Gerry's package. I don't think I properly understood what was included and the effort to fit a modular loom was a bit painful at times - the real issue being that S-V-C couldn't answer my questions about fitting and just referred on to the actual manufacturers who in turn said don't ask them it was S-V-C who designed it. In the end it fitted in with the only real issues being around wiring indicators and hazard lights - but it was a bit of a painful process and it stalled my build for a while. If I did again I think I'd be tempted to check out Gerry's. By the time I made the battery straps, bought the immobilizer, spent weeks head scratching how to solve indicator issues etc. I don't think the savings were worth it. Assuming Gerry's is built to suit the switches he provides it should be a doddle fitting.
