Dear All

The Winter edition of T289R News is with the Printers so here’s hoping you receive it in time for some Christmas reading with a glass of something warming and a mince pie. Many thanks to everyone who has contributed – it is your magazine and your articles make it worth reading and enjoying.

The 260 Cobra on the front cover belongs to Barrie Bird whom we visited during the 289 Scottish Cobra and Battles Tour in September. Built in 1962, the Mk1 AC Cobra - CSX 2033, PSU 264 was the 34th Cobra built. Barrie owns some beautiful and very interesting Cobras and Aces - you can read a bit about them in the News.

For those of you in the UK, please write to me about your recent IVA experiences to supplement Byron’s article on Registering your Replica which has been postponed until the Spring edition. For those of you further afield, do write on another topic - experiences from overseas members are especially welcome as we want to make the magazine relevant for you too.

Wherever you are, don’t forget to add your car to the Car Registry!

Take care, avoid Omicron if you can, and enjoy a good Christmas and healthy New Year.

With best wishes from

Valerie
