What can one say without upsetting someone somewhere?.
The extent of patina to show originality is obviously down to personal preference.
In my view it’s a shame the owner couldn’t have cleaned up the rusty water marks and put some leather feed on the seats. Otherwise looking at photos of under bonnet and the doors it does seem to be an Ali body which is tall enough to have the ventilation ducts fixed to the front wheel arches. Vertical distributor indicates it’s a Ford lump. As we can’t see the reg plate we don’t know if it is the same as No14 in the other photo with the standard rear arches. If the wider arches were added later then a fair bit of work has been done to make them blend in paint wise!.
It’s presence obviously creates some discussion.

Well spotted Migge!!
I didn’t see the driver Simon so wouldn’t have known.
Clearly the owner loves the old look.
Personally just a bit of gravel rash would suffice for me.
