Like me you have probably seen them on E-Bay and thought "What a price for a model!" Well one night last week, after a couple of whiskies more than I should have, I bid on one based in Paris. After being out-bid a couple of times I was the winning bidder! (Incidentally the person I was bidding against turned out to be Bill Telford! )

Well the model arrived today and to say it is exceptional is an understatement. I have never seen so much detail in a model before. From the engine bay to the cockpit, instruments, pedals, tonneau lifta-dots, opening fuel cap, even the grommets for the bumpers are there!
It now has pride of place on my desk and I can't stop admiring it!
