Hopefully looking after the Railton while it has the cycle wings fitted. When he does come along, ask him about his Rover. That is rather special.

Like Paul said someone offered me silly money for it.
It was actually registered as a '1953 Jag XK Sports' & built by Classic Jaguar Replicas. I was at a local car show and was approached by someone interested in the details (in particular the tax disc stating 1953). He had a 'fiend' in Japan looking for one but wanted an old registration to make import easy and cheap .... anyway long story short, after lots of emails and telephone calls it went to japan

What was it like to drive Dale?

I always love the fact that there's a special storage area for six spark plugs to the driver's right. Nice!

I'm wondering how he got his foot up on the transmission tunnel to dip the lights!! Another question Dale - did the spotlight behind the grille affect cooling?
