What do you think about these bodges? What’s the bodgiest thing you’ve ever done to something? Hopefully nothing as awful as this!

Are these IVA fails?
Cheers, Clive.

Might be a couple of radius issues, although some of them could be deemed as collapsible so should pass

Here are some recent improvements/modifications I've done to my other half's car. There are still plenty of miles left in the old girl yet!

There are of course no end to the list of get you home temporary repairs. A friend who owned an old Bedford van had the front suspension collapse. We needed to get the van home for repair and he didn’t belong to the AA.
So out with some wire we found in the back and having jacked the car up proceeded to tie the bottom wishbone up to the top shock absorber arm. Similar to the MGB set up. This then allowed the car to be supported at a suitable height to drive home. Main concern was on turning every corner whether the fulcrum pin with the stub axle would decide to go off in a different direction. Yes, we got back to his home and no we didn't get stopped by the Police for driving a little erratically.
Always wondered what would have happened had we got stopped or even had an accident.
