That car was for sale last year with the same pics - I used the pics for amusing myself with photoshop playing around with planned hardtop mods last summer.

Assume its an ali body car for that money?

The photo of the dashboard is not clear enough to show if it has the scuttle to chassis struts that an Ali car would have. Also I can’t see the top of the radiator which would be on show if it were a Kirkham Ali shell and the inner wheel arches aren’t clear enough to show it’s definitely an Ali car.
Yes, at that price it should be Ali unless someone is taking the Micky big time.
Surprised they haven’t highlighted that its an Ali car if it is.

Looks like a GRP car. The body returns (with the door open) give it away as that looks like Aarons cut lines.
Pretty standard Hawk, its worth what someone is willing to pay for it, hence the reason why it probably hasn't sold...…. yet

Definitely GRP. It's missing the long underbonnet chassis struts, and the doorshut appearance is completely different.

I tried to post photos, but it seems 380kb is too big and I can't make them any smaller.

Hi Roger,
Look at the tabs below the text box you type your message into, there should be Options and Attachments
If you click on the attachments one you can add files there, I've attached quite hi res pictures without a problem.
Nice to here you are getting out in the Landy, I'm rebuilding an original petrol engine to go in mine, along with a new chassis...….

Hi Stu,
Yes, done that and the pic title appears in the attachments box, but there’s an orange triangle next to it and it doesn’t appear in the reply. If I click on the triangle, I get a message about pixel limits. I have no idea how to change those but as the photo is only 380k I don’t get it.

I’ve just finished a complete engine and gearbox rebuild in the Series 2A so if you need any advice give me a shout. Best parts guys by a mile are Blanchard’s, who have loads of NOS good stuff and not too many horrible blue plastic bags! Great engine advice from Frida at Turners, too.
