A very nicely presented car. Shame about the bird poo on the dash!
If it was built in 2007 I don’t how the seat belt mountings passed the SVA?
I thought they had to be higher e.g. Gerry provides a mounting frame with chrome extenders.
Should be economical with a modern BMW engine.
Prices like that would ultimately reflect on the general Hawk owners albeit that this one was built by Talon an agent for Gerry at that time.

Based on that price, I think a few of us might need to ‘revalue’ for insurance purposes! 😮
The IVA-correct seatbelt bracket on our new one is horrible. The belt rubs against my neck, (with seat fully back) and literally strangles Mum when the seat is forward. Bloody lethal.

I have pulled the belt out of the top loop and it is better for me, but still not ideal for ‘Jenelope Pitstop’, so further modification will be required to make it safe.

[Edit: I misread your post, and answered for fitting belt cushions! I blame the medication! 🤕]
Yes, Simon, that might help make them more comfy where they rub in the wrong place, but I’d rather get them in the right place to start with! I have to consider where the belt will pull in an emergency stop. It might mean adding a guide to the top of the seat, or altering the location of the receiver end; if I can’t find a solution for a 6’ & a 5’2” driver, last resort is to go 4-point harness.

I have just reappraised my insurance value but no where near that sort of number.
I wouldn’t consider a full harness belt in a car without a full roll cage. At least you have an option of ducking down with normal lap and diagonal.
I would think you can conjure up new lower level belt guides to suit your mum and it wouldn’t be a big issue to have the belt rise up and over your shoulder.

It ain't sold at that price though. You can price anything at any price, but until it's sold it doesn't have a real value.
Cheers, Clive.

Nik, move the pedal box back a tad. Would make it much more enjoyable for your Mom. Not a 5 minute job I know. But would be well worth it.

Thanks, you 2. I think I’m going to have to build an adjustable pedalbox now! 🙄😆
