The Queen is dead, long live the King!
How sad. What a wonderful person, she dedicated her life to this wonderful country.
We cried tonight. The loss of the Mother of this great nation has affected us in ways we didn't expect.
I just hope what she represented continues in some way.
Rest in peace Your Majesty.

Re: The Queen
What a life she had, dedicated to service at the expense of a private life. Quite a thing to commit to at the age of 21!
Rest in peace ma’am

Re: The Queen
Indeed a very sad day.
289 Members on our Welsh Tour held a one minutes silence before last nights dinner to respect this great lady who guided our nation for so long. I think there was a few damp eyes.

Re: The Queen
Clearly not everyone is saddened by the death of our Monarch.
A fish and chip shop owner in Muir of Ord celebrated the event with some bubbly and was then stupid enough to put it onto face book. 150 locals then took their anger out by throwing eggs and ketchup at their shop. The shop owner had to be rescued by the police.
The locals have vowed never buy their chips from this shop in future. The owner could well be out of business by the end of the month. Such is the power of the media.
It appears that the village has become infamous around the world for the wrong reasons.

Re: The Queen
He rightly deserves to go out of business with that stunt. Whatever his personal feelings (celebrating the death of a 96 year old woman?????) he is clearly unaware of the feeling of the whole nation….the man’s an arse.
