Congratulations David. Christmas presents don't come much better than that.

We could always think of some suitable NJ-style female names for her... Alan? Kevin?
Congrats to all of you clever grandparents. All the benefits with none of the hassle - although being a bit closer might be nice.
ps - Colin, you spoilsport!

Mange tout mange tout

In our family there was considerable discussion between Duncan (our younger son and father to be in NJ) and Robert, his older brother about potential names for the new child. We do not know if the baby is male or female.
Suggestions included:
Jesus
Holly
Santa
Elfie
Argos - Duncan as a child used to write a letter to Father Christmas using the Argos catalogue for inspiration

PS Colin, can you explain to us thick northerners why you put mange tout, mange tout in your last post. My linguistically qualified wife is baffled.

Because it's another classic!
David, you need television to reach the outskirts of Brum...

Whatever David's grandchild is called, it'll always be Rodney around here.
