Black Swan Sunday 9th August

Post by andyg »

Hi All
Anyone from any of the Southern Areas thought about going to The Black Swan breakfast meet (think it’s 0930-1200) - and still on according to their Facebook page. It’s located just outside Ockham (KT11 1NG).

Hi Andy,
I didn’t know about that one but as I have just got my exhaust back on it might be a good local trip to test all is well as I expect to get an MOT next week.
I might not make 9.30 but prepared to go and see how the crowds behave themselves.
I confess I’m still very nervous of people who don’t understand what 2 meters is. Too many think the problem is all over and they can act like the virus never happened.

I have just confirmed the times with The Black Swan and it is actually 0830-1100.
Not sure I’ll be able to make it myself now as having to work!

I'm thinking of starting a company making clown trousers with a 2-metre hula-hoop sewn in to the waistband. Do we think that would be a go-er?

I realised it would need to be a 4-metre hula hoop. Don't ask me the difference between radius and diameter...
